One Hour Kayak Tours - $50
One Hour kayak tours have been added this year & cost $50.00 per person. They leave from our new location at Bartwood Lodge Resort. Designed for the viewing of Harbor seals out on Parkers Reef, this tour will depart one hour before and after slack low tide. Osprey Tours will not infringe upon these breeding grounds; therefore, we will maintain a recommended distance of 100 yards plus, as to not disrupt the sensitive ecosystem of this species. Binoculars will be provided, so that you may have a clear view of this area from a respectful distance.
Half-day Kayak Tours - $70
Half-day kayak tours cost $70.00 per person and last about two and a half hours. They depart in the mornings and afternoon from our new location at Bartwood Lodge Resort on the very North side of Orcas Island. From here you'll have stunning views of Sucia, Patos, Matia, and Clark islands. These are Marine Access State Park Campgrounds. And if the weather allows mount Baker and the Cascade Range of mountains can be seen just to the east. Once on the water our groups either head west to Point doughty, marine access only campground, on the northwest Point of Orcas Island or we will head east along the backside of Buck Mountain to raccoon point. Times and tour destination depend solely on the tidal currents for that day.
Sunset Kayak Tours - $85
Sunset kayak tours cost $85.00 per person and leave just prior to sunset. They put in at Bartwood Lodge on the very North side of Orcas Island and stay out on the water for the sunset, then paddle back in with the dusk light. This lasts about three and a half hours. Depending on the speed of the group we will stop and get out of the kayaks at Point Doughty to stretch our legs and attend to personal needs. At certain times of the month this trip can be lengthened so that the group can paddle back in the dark, therefore getting a chance to view the bioluminescence. If you wish to view this incredible light show it will be an added cost of $15.00
Full Day Kayak Tours - $150
Full Day tours cost $150.00 per person and are approximately six hours on the water with several stops. This tour is Not Recommended for beginners. We have found that this is a long time to be paddling and sitting down in a kayak if you aren't use to it. There are several options for your destination on our Full-day tours. You may circumnavigate Waldron or Sucia Islands or several coastline destinations on Orcas Island. Sucia Island is the most popular. A snack and pack able lunch is recommended. We can arrange this for you for an extra cost. Please call for more information.
Umiak Tours - $50
Last about 45 minutes and cost $50 per person. Minimum of 4 people. This is a unique tour your whole family can participate in.
